4 COMMON SKINCARE MISTAKES TO AVOID

  1. OVER EXFOLIATING:

    While getting rid of skin impurities on a regular basis is good, doing it too much can aggravate the skin. Over-exfoliation can lead to redness, and irritation may leave the skin in worse condition than what you started with. ο»ΏTo achieve clearer, brighter skin, exfoliation on a consistent basis is what works well.

  2. SKIPPING SPF:

    Not wearing sunscreen (SPF) leads to an increased risk of sunburn, premature aging, and skin cancer, as well as potential eye damage and hyperpigmentation.

  3. USING WATER THAT IS TOO HOT:

    Washing your skin with hot water can strip away its natural oils, leading to dryness, flakiness, and increased sensitivity, while also potentially damaging the skin's natural barrier function.

  4. FREQUENT CLEANSING:

    Over-cleansing can strip your skin of its natural oils, leading to dryness, irritation, and even breakouts, as it disrupts the skin's natural barrier and pH balance.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES & WHAT IS INCLUDED: Wedding day makeup with skin prep, bridal trial with a curated skin prep plan (if needed), lashes are always included in my prices, under eye gel patches, lip scrub & lip mask, β€œWhat to expect on the day of” guide, customized β€œgetting ready timeline”, touch-up kit x2 with essentials.

  2. DO YOU TRAVEL & WHAT ARE THE FEES INVOLVED: Travel fees cover travel time, fuel costs, vehicle wear & tear, transportation of makeup & equipment (set up and take down). I charge $0.65 cents per km round trip calculated from my residence to the β€œgetting ready” location.

  3. DO YOU DO AIRBRUSH MAKEUP: Airbrush makeup is just a thinner normally silicone-based makeup that is sprayed on with a compressor. Its actual formula is like any other traditional foundation formula. Case in point, when traditional makeup is applied correctly, it should feel light with comparable longevity.

  4. DO YOU OFFER HAIRSTYLING: Because of this I rarely offer makeup with hairstyling for my bridal clients as my passion lies in my makeup artistry.

    In my opinion, to offer both services myself on your wedding day would be a disservice to my brides as my main focus is on their makeup look and not to be split in two with adding hairstyling to the mix.

    HOWEVER, I have a decent list of extremely talented professional hairstylists, that I can provide to you!

  5. HOW DO I BOOK & WHAT IS REQUIRED: To book, I require my signed contract returned and a non-refundable $50.00 retainer. this fee will go towards the price of your overall service costs
